disjointed is a self-portrait. I began editing it, but something felt off- the angle I'd taken the portrait at gave an eerie effect, the high eyebrows I have and general facial expression, the sun reflecting. It generally felt uncomfortable, in a way I couldn't quite put a finger on, so I decided to lean into the general sense with the black-and-white. I can't quite explain what or why this portrait makes me feel, but it nonetheless makes me feel disjointed.
